AI Trading Card Activation: Participant Terms
Who we are
Pop Life Photo Booth, LLC, operating as Pop Life Photo, is running this activation for the event host. We operate the station and we collect the information you enter. The event host is named on the station and on your card.
What happens to your photo
You take one photo on our device. We send it to a third-party artificial intelligence service, the Google Gemini API, which generates a stylized portrait. We assemble that portrait into a card, print it, and give you a link to a digital copy.
All Pop Life systems and storage are located in the United States, and image generation is performed by Google in the United States. Google's published terms allow brief logging for policy enforcement, which may be cached outside the United States.
The result is computer generated
AI is unpredictable. Your card may change how you look, including your facial features, skin tone, hair, clothing, or how your gender reads, and it may add or remove elements such as hands, arms, or objects. The image is an artistic rendering, not a photograph of you, and it is not intended to represent your real appearance.
What we do not do
- We do not use facial recognition or face matching.
- We do not create a faceprint, facial geometry template, or any other biometric identifier.
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not use your photo to train AI models.
- We do not post your photo to a public gallery, social wall, or shared feed.
- We do not add you to a Pop Life mailing list and we will not contact you.
What we collect and who gets it
We collect your first name, email address, home base, and your answers to the questions in the flow. Company and job title are optional. This is collected through the capture station and the card microsite.
We share this with the event host as event registration data. If you turned on the host contact option, the host may also contact you about their products, events, and offers, and you can unsubscribe at any time. If you left it off, the host still receives your registration as an event participant but does not have your marketing consent.
We do not collect your phone number, payment information, or date of birth.
How your photo and card may be used
The event host may use, reproduce, distribute, display, and modify your photo and your AI-generated card for any lawful business purpose, including marketing, promotional, and internal communications.
Pop Life may use your photo, your card, and video of you receiving it in Pop Life's own marketing, portfolio, and case studies, unless you turned that option off at the station. You can also change your mind afterward by emailing us at the address below, and we will stop using your image and remove it from anything we control.
How long we keep it
We delete your photo and your generated card from our systems within 30 days of the event. The event host keeps the information we share with them under their own privacy policy.
Your choices
Participation is voluntary. You can decline at any point before your photo is taken and nothing is saved. After the fact, you can ask us to delete your photo and your record, or to stop using your image in our marketing, by emailing us at the address below. We will confirm within three business days and complete it within ten.
Age
You must be 18 or older to participate.
